| Tavern | Guild Tavern | The tavern is a great place to hold shows and there is no flat rate for hiring the tavern. Just go and see the Guild Tavern Manager to figure out a costing to suit your show. It all depends on the number of people attending and the nature of the show. The Tav is available Monday to Saturday for club shows and can extend its license until midnight for events. Our manager is very experienced at running club events and having a show in the Tav will free you up from a lot of the tedious organising that a show usually requires. Services available at the Tav are:
- BBQs
- The big screen. Great for background movies/photos
- Trained bar staff. Always handy as you have to worry about one less thing
- Stage
- Sound system
- Extensive range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (we can sell you drinks at a discount even if your show is not in the Tav)
- Pool tables
- Security provided
- Large areas for dancing and plenty of tables and chairs
- No need to get a liquor licence, it's already done for you

| General University Facilities | UWA Venues Office | Any room, lecture theatre or other space on the University grounds (not including Guild Facilities) must be booked through the Office of Facilities Management. For details on hiring venues, security, cleaning, audio visual equipment or even indoor pot plants, visit http://www.timetable.uwa.edu.au/. Please use your club contacts when booking venues so that staff can identify you.
The following factors should be noted when hiring University Venues:
- Costs of booking These do vary with time and depend on the relevant venue. However, they do offer discounted rates for Guild clubs. Up to date costs can be obtained from the Venues Office.
- Cancellation of Booking If a cancellation is made is made less then 24hrs before the time set for the function, the club may be liable for the full charge for the use of the facilities.
- Security Make sure that Liquor Licensing Laws and University Requirements are adhered to when you hire the room/function centre.
