Welcome to UWA's most talentless club. Actually, that's not true. We're great at making people laugh, and...well, that's all I can think of right now.
Can't sing, dance or act? Then our club is for you! We put on two productions a year in the Dolphin theatre, and anyone can be a star. We hold auditions for parts, but everyone has a role in our productions. We aren't very elite, if you want that, go join UDS. And our society isn't all about being on stage- we have a great crew in charge of lighting, sound, props, backstage, computers, musical direction, backdrops- all help is much appreciated! Ooh, a choreographer would be nice...except that we're all fairly unco...We don't take ourselves too seriously, and the point of our club is for us to have fun, hopefully taking the audience along for the ride. Pantomime isn't like normal theatre---you laugh and the audience laughs with you. Then, of course, you have the right to go yell at the audience for being rude.
Our past productions have included 'The Search for Peter Pan's Nether Nether Regions', 'Robin Hood's BIG Beanstalk' and 'There's Something About Aladdin'. So, obviously from those names, don't join our society if you aren't a fan of smut! So check out our wicked site, and join the most fun (though possibly embarrassing...) club on campus.
