| The Guild and Soc Council run a number of volunteer training events throughout the year.
It is important to attend Soc Council Meetings and read your e-mails
to find out more. |
Responsible Service of Alcohol - Certificate Course
The law requires that anybody serving/selling alcohol
on licensed premises must have an RSA Certificate. This means that any
club/FacSoc reps holding events and serving alcohol at these events MUST
complete the training. Whether you hold large events or smaller sundowners,
it is now the law that you have to hold the certificate. Most companies offer
the training at a cost of more than $100, but the Guild can often arrange a
special price for affiliated clubs. The courses may run for about six hours.
NOTE: If you already have an RSA certificate you do NOT need to
repeat the course.
