WAMSS is a student body representing WA medical students in all aspects of student life as well as representation within the Australian Medical Association (AMA) and the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.
WAMSS social events include the annual Medical Dinner and Ball, a variety of other social function with an unequalled reputation, as well as a competitive sporting programme. A publications team organizes regular newsletters as well as an alternative faculty handbook and a year book.
Lookout, the fund raising arm of WAMSS provides an opportunity for every med student to become part of the community. WAMSS also maintains a common room at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital and a bookshop providing merchandise at minimal profit.
