THE WOMEN'S DEPARTMENT
We ensure that the rights of women are upheld at UWA. Women’s social, cultural and political issues continue to be important in today’s society. We provide events, support and advice, and tackle Issues from campus to national level.
The Women’s Room is available to all women on campus - a place where you can study, meet or relax, as well as seek advice in a safe and caring environment. We publish an annual magazine – The Damsel – a chance for female students to write on topics that are important to them.
If you would like to get involved or need any help, drop by the Women’s room or email us. Look out for our posters and emails throughout the year. Or join The Women’s Collective - an open group of female students who focus on concerns facing women at Uni and in wider society.
