Just because you’re a student doesn’t mean life stops when semester starts. SPOC, or Student Parents On Campus, plays a vital role in providing support for students with children.
The SPOC room can be found on the 1st floor of the Guild Building (Sth Wing) and is a place for parents to take their children knowing they can study in a child-friendly environment without noise complaints. It’s also the perfect place to relax with its collection of toys and kitchenette facilities.
The room also acts as a meeting place for student parents to share experiences and plan the group’s social events. To get involved email the SPOC coordinator at spoc@guild.uwa.edu.au or head up to the room.
