Fiona Parker President of the Residential Students’ Department T: 0438 201 720 E: rsd-president@guild.uwa.edu.au The Residential Students’ Department is the peak representative body for university students living on campus at UWA. We seek to support residential students and their clubs in achieving their aims, as well as facilitating cultural, social, intellectual, community and sporting events for these students. Furthermore, we encourage and assist residential students to engage with the UWA community, as well as with the wider community beyond the university. As of 2012, we also strive to ensure that all residential students will have access to the Guild services. Managed by an elected committee of ten, the current Residential Students’ Department represents St Catherine’s College, St George’s College, Currie Hall, Trinity College and St Thomas More College. Together, the committee looks forward to inviting college students and the university community to upcoming events including our annual charity ball, our nightclub parties and our infamous Lip-Dub competition, just to name a few. Make sure to look out for us college kids around campus – we may have our own department, but all are welcome at our events, and especially at our residences. (Handy if you need a place to chill when you have a three hour break between classes…) If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact any of the committee members; we’re all here to help in any way we can. Alternatively, you can follow us on Facebook for updates on upcoming events and news. Find us on Facebook at: http://www.facebook.com/UWAResidentialStudents
