The queer community is not immune to domestic abuse in our relationships. Ssdag is a support group for those who have been or who are in abusive relationships. Abusive relationships are characterised (for example) by ongoing threats, stalking, outing, verbal abuse, controlling finances, physical and sexual abuse. If you feel you are in an abusive relationship there is help.

The WA AIDS council, established in 1985, leads the Western Australian community in the provision of a wide range of services in the prevention of HIV, and the treatment and care of people living with HIV/AIDS.
